Bloomberg Accidentally Publishes Jobs' Obituary On News Wire

Thousands of corporate clients received a story, marked "Hold for release - Do not use," from Bloomberg business news wire Wednesday afternoon. The story was the Steve Jobs obituary. The obituary was published "momentarily" after an update from a reporter and was "immediately deleted," Bloomberg said. Details of friends and colleagues of the Apple founder to be contacted by Bloomberg in the event of his death were also published. That story again, Steve Jobs *not* dead at 53.

Strange I notice that there is a paragraph marked for inclusion if the stock falls upon his death...but none for if the stock rises. grim? Yes. Unilikely? probably but it seems like they are interested in having the bases covered.

I was so disappointed when on the day when Gerald Ford actually died, none of the TV networks played the Dana Carvey SNL skit. Not even the Daily Show, which did not air a new episode that night. They completely missed a fantastic comedic opportunity.

He's undead now?? This'll secure Apple's stock for all time, Steve will always be a part of the company, a shuffling flesh eating part of the company but a part none-the-less.
