That is exactly what I thought as soon as I read "low frequencies.... Jimmy Page's les paul almost invented that sound. Although, could it be the voice? We aren't using a controlled environment with these additional bands as all of the voices are very unique (not canned boy bands).

Interesting, now lets consider....

...getting close enough to tag a particular shark or two and playing types of music at random intervals over a given time frame, say a year or so.

Keep try to pick music of the same base level to play for a designated amount of time. Try other types of music that have higher pitches and lots less base. Use vocals, don't use vocals, and record your findings which include the Name of the Song, the album it was played from, the artist, the length of time the music played for, on what type of system the music was played on, GPS locations, time of day, weather conditions, water conditions and any other key data. Once you have all of this nice wonderful data, put it out on the web for others to research and study as well.

I'm curious, was the music was of the best sound quality or super compressed?
What equipment did he use to play the music in the water?
Does he know how loud the music volume was?
The lowest sound to the highest volume?
Was it feeding time?
Was the shark in the area before music was playing or after?

My curiosity is peaked.
