Tea Task Force To Spy On Water Use at Work 6

Envirowise, a British government sponsored environmental consultant company, is urging businesses to appoint tea monitors to make sure people do not waste water. They say the conservation of water used to make tea will reduce greenhouse gases and save companies money. In a statement it tells businesses, "Appoint a tea task force or tea monitor to make sure all your office hot drink-making facilities are as efficient as they could be. Only boil the water you use - this will avoid water and energy being wasted." I'd like to offer my services as office soap steward and Lord of the toilet paper.

  • Throw all the tea overboard, I say.
  • Only boiling the water you use sounds good. I've often wondered why we bother boiling a full kettle for a cup of coffee, or keeping an entire tank of boiling water. Bring on the USB one-cup kettles! No more associating in the kitchenette with co-workers you generally dislike! Now, if only we could somehow get some USB plumbing so we can have a tiny sink... :P

  • To generate funds to fight global-warming, your Government will now be assessing taxes for each gaseous expulsion you produce from your anus. Methane and sulfur detectors will be inserted tomorrow. Good day.
