Swiss Heartland Voters Ban Nude Hiking In Alps 7

Thanks to voters in the heart of the Swiss Alps the horror of nude hiking has finally come to an end. The people of Appenzell, Inner Rhodes voted to impose a 200 Swiss franc ($176) fine on anyone brazen enough to take off their pants and walk around at 7000 feet. Naked hiking started to become a problem last autumn when naked hikers — primarily Germans — started showing up in eastern Switzerland. "The reactions of the population have shown that such appearances over a large area are perceived as thoroughly disturbing and irritating," the government said in a statement.

  • One Swiss complainant was quoted as saying, "It is frustrating... how are we going to keep our fair Swiss maidens satisfied once they see the enormous schlongs on these German beastie-men and start comparing them to our tiny swiss sausages?"
    • I suspect that the ambient temperature in the Alps would have a significant negative effect on the size of "that certain part of a guy's anatomy," regardless of national origin ;).
  • I thought it said "nuke hiding" and wondered why they'd only fine the U.S. 200 sw. francs.

  •     I read this on my phone first, and didn't see the picture. In my mind, I saw the Swedish Bikini Team hiking naked, except for boots. Oh how disappointed I am to see the real picture.

Keep up the good work! But please don't ask me to help.
