Man Banned From Getting Drunk For Seven Years 9
An English court has ruled that David Peers is not allowed to be drunk anywhere in England or Wales until 2016. Peers has been charged 11 times for his drunken anti-social behavior, and has been arrested for fighting, verbally abusing town residents, and occasionally urinating on shop windows. Doug Stott, of Surrey Police, said, "David Peers has a history of drinking and disorderly behaviour. Despite extensive intervention by Surrey Police and our partner agencies, Peers has not shown a positive change in his behaviour and has continued to verbally abuse and be aggressive towards local businesses and residents."

.08 doesn't mean you're drunk. It means you can't drive a car. A hard-core alcoholic probably wouldn't be "drunk" at .08, for example.
When you don't have a blood/breath alcohol level, the test isn't even "drunk." The test is usually "impaired." There's a BIG difference between the two.

So, if you can restrain yourself from climbing the bus stop lamppost, can prove you gave your car keys to your neighbor's (neighbour's) pet marmoset, and don't make anybody call the EPA because your breath is making people within a two mile radius pass out, you're g

here in britan we have this thing known of as an ASBO, I dunno if you have anything similar in the US. Basically an asbo bans someone who is known to engage in "anti-social behaviour" from doing the things that lead them to that "anti-social behaviour". Asbos are issued by magistrates courts (sheriffs courts in scotland).
This person has shown that when drunk he is very disorderly so has been given an ASBO banning him from getting drunk.
