Jedi Group Seeking New Leader 10

garg0yle writes "A group of Jedis in England are seeking a new leader after their previous one was forced to step down due to health concerns. Prospective candidates should have a martial arts background and be steeped in the teachings of the Force. I'm assuming you just send your resume to Coruscant to apply?"

Jedi Group Seeking New Leader

  • You know... like... IT'S A TRAP!

  • I wonder if they are instructors or students?

    Joking aside, the Jedi approach to reality is actually very similar to one particular caste of Eastern warrior/philosopher/monk. It was explained to me by a fellow who was deeply steeped in this stuff, and it was fascinating to hear about their methods.

    What would be noteworthy, (I almost said, "cool"), would be if a belt-farm Jedi Academy actually taught viable kung-fu. It'd be embarrassing if you were a martial arts student and got your ass kicked by a Jedi.

    • And what the heck are they doing teaching kids with Red lightsabers?

      Have they learned nothing?

      (There. I met my weekly quota of 'geek' in under five minutes. Thanks George!)

      Nothing wrong with giving the kids some 'cool factor' as an incentive to exercise and learn some useful martial arts as collateral learning.

        Geeky != Cool
        my friend :P

  • WTF is that? Everyone knows Jedi can heal themselves using the force - Cilgahl, T'ra Saa, Cade Skywalker! these 'Jedi' are weak.
    Unless they're just trying to cover up a Sith assassination attempt.
