Japanese Airline to Offer Draft Beer 8
While some airlines are charging you for carry-on bags and others are reducing beverage service, ANA would like to offer a cold draft beer. Starting July 20, passengers on All Nippon Airway will be able to purchase a tall cold one for $11.30. Until now draft beer and fluctuating cabin pressure would result in a foamy mess, but new keg technology has solved the problem.

The pat-downs aren't really that invasive. My girlfriend was selected for one this holiday season and it was conducted in the open right at the security checkpoint, by a female officer wearing plastic gloves, with no removal of clothing or groping under clothing. I was kind of irked when she was selected at first but the whole thing was over in less than 5 minutes and it really wasn't a big issue at all.

Leaving Viet Nam one time (I was there seeing my wife's family), they selected my flight for pat-downs. They had a guy to pat down guys and a woman to pat down women. But when I got to the front of the queue, the woman gestured to me. I looked at her like "WTF?" but she kept gesturing. I wasn't going to argue, because she had a gun and I didn't, so I went over. Beer cans do NOT explode on flights. In fact I've been served beer from cans on many flights, and before the current restrictions, often carried 4 or 6 beers in my carry-on luggage.
