A Weyland Industries ship explores or crash-lands on LV-426, finds the crashed bio-weapon ship, and, by the end of the movie, all crew members die a violent death.
One or two of them will be infected; the android/robot on board will observe this and a hidden shell script directing him to collect information about potential weapons will activate, and he will try to take an impregnated human back to earth in a stasis chamber. However, the human will realize the danger, and die in the struggle to prevent the Alien menace spreading back to earth.
Despite this, the android will still have the information and perhaps some specimens. He will then fly back to earth alone, or transmit the information back to Weyland HQ just before dying.

The same thing male robots are for. You assume that women wouldn't want to have guilt a risk free sex with a machine just like men would. You also seem to think the potential for sex would be a reason for people not to have female robots (embarrassment), which is pretty much the same reason that women had/have such a hard time getting into certain jobs.
