The root of the issue is that electronics are all about volume. Software is the most extreme case, it costs a good deal to write; but nearly nothing to copy, so the per-unit cost absolutely plummets as volume increases. It doesn't look good or seem to fit the shape of a hand. I think if this was the SECOND most expensive mouse then it would have lost its only attraction.
