Pornography Outlawed In Ukraine, Unless It's "Medicinal" 18

President Viktor Yushchenko signed a law that makes possession of pornography a crime in the Ukraine unless it is "for medical purposes." Punishment for possession of pornography can include fines and imprisonment for up to three years. Remember, porn is not right for everyone. Only your doctor knows if porn is right for you.

Funny that the article itself has a large banner advertising RusCams.com, with the tagline "chat with beautiful girls, live on their webcams"!

"A team in Australia led by Graham Giles of The Cancer Council Victoria in Melbourne asked 1079 men with prostate cancer to fill in a questionnaire detailing their sexual habits, and compared their responses with those of 1259 healthy men of the same age. The team concludes that the more men ejaculate between the ages of 20 and 50, the less likely they are to develop prostate cancer."

Masturbation is possible without porn, though.
(I'm not defending the Ukranians here, I think it's silly to outlaw it, I'm just playing devil's advocate for a moment. Also, while I do make a valid point, you can take it with a grain of salt since I'm female and can't quite understand how the male mind reacts so differently than mine to visual stimuli.)

I suspect this Law is intended to protect Ukrainian men from discovering what their wives/girlfriends/daughters got up to on that weekend in Budapest.

  • That's right up there with medical merijuana. Who's HMO do I have to be part of to get in on this plan?
    • Porn for medical purposes: Photographs of a woman's breasts with say lines drawn on it indicating where they plan on cutting to remove the breast cancer. Any medical book. It's not that hard to understand. Similarly, only a total moron refuses to admit that a drug has medical benefits. Pot has been proven to help glaucoma and loss of appetite, both real medical conditions. You may personally claim that there are other treatements but you are clearly not a doctor and therefore not qualified to make tha

It is once you realize that any image of someone naked is not pornography.

Neither are jokes and yet we still have responses like yours. Go Figure.

  • are THAT ugly, are they?

All jokes aside, a quick google image search suggests that is not the case.
  • A lot of woman that leave Ukraine to find better jobs end up on that same industry lol.
  • "Only your doctor knows if porn is right for you", .. this is for his own collection I suppose, of course he's going to claim it's a medical condition, when they ever find out.

As you will see, I told them, in no uncertain terms, to see Figure one. -- Dave "First Strike" Pare
